MARY'S HOUSE
Welcome to Mary's House. A place where you're not judged by your past mistakes but yet coached, trained, and empowered to build from them. It is my firm belief that real life challenges offer an opportunity to change, develop and improve. We all have a Story... It's not how the story begin, but how we choose to write the ending. I believe God's mercy and grace gives us the opportunity to reset and make better choices. This is why I make a point to aid and foster the needs of those seeking to re-establish themselves in the personal, and professional realm; helping those who want to be helped.
Our Mission is to empower and uplift underserved communities by addressing their unique needs with compassion, equity, and innovation. We are committed to providing access to essential resources, education, healthcare, and opportunities that create pathways to self-sufficiency and a better quality of life. Through collaboration, advocacy, and community-driven solutions, we strive to break down barriers, promote social inclusion, and ensure that every individual has the support they need to thrive."
We are dedicated to enhancing access to essential services and resources that bolster the well-being and resilience of marginalized populations, with a particular focus on addressing the unique challenges faced by these communities. From our base in Lovejoy Ga, we are committed to making a meaningful difference across Georgia and beyond, aiming to foster healthier, more secure, and empowered communities.
Ephesians 4:22-24
"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.."
Hebrews 13:16

WHO ARE WE
Mary's House was birthed from a generation of passion, love, the will to serve, assist, educate, and empower those who have experienced the many trials and challenges brought on by life.
This foundation was established in honor of the late Mary Melissa Hughes; dedicated mother, aunt, sister, wife and philanthropist.
Melissa never met a stranger and would take the shirt off her back to cover someone in need. She was the epitome of PATIENCE, HOPE, and LOVE. She saw the "good" in everyone she encountered. She would always say, "not everyone has the strength to pick themselves up; some people require assistance."
We believe by providing a safe and stable foundation, along with the resources and tools to succeed we can assist those with the need to re-group, re-build, reflect, and re-establish themselves both mentally and physically. It is my dream to uphold the legacy she unknowing left us with.
Proverbs 11:25
"Generous persons will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed." The Good News: Knowing that you've been able to help someone is its own reward. But as this verse notes, being generous and openhearted means God will also see to it that you are rewarded.
